Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains what data Bandwidth LLC (“Bandwidth,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects when you visit havebandwidth.com (the “Site”), how that data is used, and which third parties process it on our behalf. By using the Site, you agree to the practices described in this policy.
1. Who We Are
Bandwidth LLC operates havebandwidth.com. For questions about this policy or your data, contact us at hello@havebandwidth.com.
2. What We Collect
Email Address (Newsletter Subscribers)
If you subscribe to the In the Flow of Work newsletter, you provide your email address. Your email address is stored and managed by Kit (formerly ConvertKit), our third-party email platform.
Discovery Form Submissions
If you submit an application through the work with me application page, you provide your name, email address, company name, role, and a description of what you’re looking for. This information is used to evaluate fit and respond to your inquiry. It is stored in our CRM database and received via email. It is not used for any purpose beyond evaluating and responding to your submission.
Anonymous Analytics Data
The Site uses Vercel Analytics to understand how pages are used. Vercel Analytics is cookieless — it does not use browser cookies, does not fingerprint your device, and does not track you across other websites. Data collected is aggregated and anonymous: page views, referring URL, country, and device type. No personally identifiable information is collected through analytics.
3. What We Do Not Collect
Outside of the discovery form described above, we do not collect names, phone numbers, mailing addresses, payment information, or any other sensitive personal data through this Site. We do not use tracking cookies, advertising pixels, or behavioral retargeting of any kind.
4. How We Use Your Information
Email address (newsletter): Used solely to deliver the newsletter you signed up for. We do not send unsolicited marketing, sell your email address to third parties, or share it with anyone outside of Kit’s infrastructure.
Discovery form data: Used solely to evaluate your inquiry and respond to you. We do not use this information for marketing, share it with third parties, or add you to any mailing list without your explicit consent.
Anonymous analytics data: Used to understand which pages are being read and how visitors arrive at the Site. This information is used to improve content and site structure. It is never used to identify individuals.
5. Legal Basis for Processing
For visitors in jurisdictions that require a legal basis for processing personal data (including under the GDPR and similar frameworks):
- Newsletter email address: Processed on the basis of your consent, given when you submit the newsletter signup form.
- Discovery form data: Processed on the basis of your consent, given when you submit the form, and on our legitimate interest in evaluating and responding to business inquiries.
- Anonymous analytics data: Processed on the basis of our legitimate interest in understanding how the Site is used. Because this data is aggregated and cannot identify individuals, it does not constitute personal data processing under most applicable privacy laws.
You may withdraw consent at any time by contacting us at hello@havebandwidth.com (see Section 7).
6. Third-Party Processors
We use the following third-party service providers. Each processes data only as necessary to provide its service and under its own privacy commitments.
Kit (formerly ConvertKit)
Email platform — newsletter delivery and subscriber management
Newsletter subscriber email addresses are stored on Kit’s servers. Kit is a US-based company. You can review their privacy policy at kit.com/privacy.
CRM Database
Storage of discovery form submissions
Name, email address, company, role, and inquiry details submitted through the discovery page are stored in a private CRM database. This data is accessible only to Bandwidth LLC and is not shared with or sold to any third party.
Vercel Analytics
Anonymous site analytics
This Site uses Vercel Analytics to collect aggregated, anonymous usage data as described in Section 2. Vercel Analytics does not use cookies or collect personally identifiable information. Their privacy policy is available at vercel.com/legal/privacy-policy.
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with any other third parties.
7. Your Rights and Choices
Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data, or to withdraw consent for its processing. In all cases, you may:
- Unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time using the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any issue.
- Request deletion of your newsletter email address or discovery form data by emailing hello@havebandwidth.com.
- Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you by emailing hello@havebandwidth.com.
We will respond to verifiable requests within 30 days. We do not charge a fee for reasonable requests.
8. Data Retention
Newsletter email addresses are retained for as long as you remain a subscriber. Upon unsubscription or a deletion request, your email address will be removed from our active lists. Kit may retain suppression records to honor future opt-out requests, consistent with applicable law.
Discovery form data (name, email, company, role, and inquiry) is retained for as long as necessary to evaluate your inquiry and maintain business records. If you request deletion, we will remove your data from our CRM database within 30 days.
Anonymous analytics data is retained in aggregated, non-identifiable form and is not subject to individual deletion requests.
9. Cookies
This Site does not use cookies for tracking or analytics. Vercel Analytics is cookieless by design. Submitting the newsletter signup form does not set a cookie to identify you.
10. Children’s Privacy
This Site is not directed to children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at hello@havebandwidth.com and we will delete it promptly.
11. International Visitors
The Site is operated from the United States. If you are visiting from outside the United States, your information — including your email address — may be transferred to and processed in the United States, where data protection laws may differ from those in your country. By using the Site and providing your email address, you consent to this transfer.
12. Changes to This Policy
If we make material changes to this policy — such as adding a new third-party processor or collecting new types of data — we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. We do not send policy-update emails. If you want to stay current, bookmark this page.
